Through Alibaba Cloud's hybrid cloud backup tool HBR (Hybrid Backup Recovery), VMware cluster business virtual machines and locally stored files in the on-premises data center are backed up to Alibaba Cloud through a high-speed channel between the on-premises data center and Alibaba Cloud. This backup process is performed periodically to ensure offline MySQL and SQL Server databases are synchronized with the cloud. On the cloud side, single-node RDS instances (MySQL and SQL Server) are used to ensure data synchronization. To guarantee the performance of the on-premises business database, Alibaba's DTS tool is used for asynchronous data synchronization. This solution ensures that in the event of unavailability in the on-premises environment, virtual machines backed up to Alibaba Cloud can be restored on Alibaba Cloud, and timely connections to the online RDS backup databases are established to ensure timely recovery of customer environments.
